With a cursory glance you might just think you’ve spotted a regular old cricket (Gryllidae). But, on closer inspection as photographer Sean Weekly has demonstrated, there is much more going on with this cricket than first meets the eye.
If you take a look at the photo above… do you see anything interesting? Does it resemble anything to you…? Like, I don’t know… maybe THE FACE OF A WALRUS?!
Creatures within creatures. Talk about mashups in the animal kingdom! This is some sort of holy #WalrusCricket… now that’s a topic you won’t see trending on Twitter everyday. Unless you make it one 😉
