It’s starting to feel more and more like Spring to me. Maybe it has something to do with the 80 degree days we’ve been having in Southern California lately. It really makes me think that Winter is over with [thank God].
I thought this butterfly, the Octauius Swordtail (Chorinea octauius), looked like it was preparing for the arrival of warmer weather as well, since it’s decided to show off a little ‘skin.’ Those transparent wings are pretty neat. It makes the butterfly seem as if it’s cut out of cellophane or something!
What do you guys think?
