Poor little Pedro the fox cub was found shivering in a bramble bush before being brought to the Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre in Somerset, UK. He’s the smallest fox cub ever having been treated at the center – he fits in the palm of your hand!

It was a good thing that Manager Sara Cowen battled through the thorny bush to scoop up Pedro, as he was just hours from death. His mother had fled her fox hole in a hurry and left little Pedro alone and afraid.

He’s now being kept in an incubator and being hand-reared until eventually getting released back into the wild.

Sara said: ‘He would almost certainly have died if we hadn’t found him so soon.’

Thank God tiny Pedro was discovered. Now hopefully he can go on to live a wonderfully long life!
