This South American Dead Leaf Mantis (Acanthops falcataria) is one of the cutest little insects I’ve ever seen. It appears to be humbly kneeling before these photographers, looking up at them with those large and knowing eyes. The camouflage is pretty incredible and for that reason alone it deserves to take a a full bow. Cheers little guy!
