This beautiful little frog, commonly known as Barbour’s Forest Frog (Leptopelis barbouri) is found in a variety of moist environments, from forests to mountains, to rivers and marshes. It is characterized by its translucent skin which sometimes sports gold flecks which gives it a beautiful, sparkly appearance.

The coolest part about this frog is that you can see right through it! I love the simplicity of this frog until it opens its eyes. Then it’s like – POP! Major color overload.
