Well, I guess this Map Tree Frog (Hypsiboas geographicus) was always actually a frog, but it certainly doesn’t look like one in its juvenile form. When these frogs are young they definitely take on the resemblance of a dalmatian with those spots.

I wish they kept them into adulthood, but I guess it makes them more special knowing that these are some fleeting moments of spotted life that we’re seeing in those photos.
