Habitat: many localities in the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific
Status: Not listed

Here’s the Flabellina exoptata, more commonly referred to as the “desirable nudibranch” because of its magnificent colors.

The body is translucent violent but the red-orange gonad that runs down the middle may give it an orange hue. The cerata (things that stick out of the top of the body) are translucent as well with deep purple bands that end in white. I’m really loving the orange rhinophores though!

Have a great weekend everybody!
