This nudibranch, Kalinga ornata, is a perfect example of a what-the-heck-is-going-on-here creature. I mean just look at this thing – it’s basically a blob of mismatched bumps and lumps bedazzled with red, orange, blue, and yellow spots. Ok, nudibranch… come on now. Let’s get it together here. These sea slugs grow to at least 130mm. That’s 130mm of pure hot mess.
