Beautiful indigo rings dot this dark nudibranch, Chelidonura livida. Not much to say on this slug, I just thought it was very cool. The ‘hammerhead’ appearance is because it’s a member of the headshield slugs of the order Cephalaspidea. They use their heads as shovels, plowing beneath the sand to hang out. Now that’s usin’ your noggin!
