I've Got a Sweet Wrasse!© Davevia: http://fishindex.blogspot.com
Habitat: Western Central Pacific
Status: No Conservation Concerns

This is the psychedelic Mystery Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus ocellatus), a gorgeous fish that looks like something out of a fantasy novel. It’s usually the centerpiece of an aquarists’ tank since those colors are so stunning. The best part though, is that these fish actually change colors as they age. For example, oung Mystery Wrasse can be green, but will soon turn to the more familiar reddish purple body. These fish reach lengths of 4.7 inches (12 cm).If I had an aquarium this would be one of the first fish that I would showcase!

What about you guys?
