Habitat: rainforests of New Guinea, far northeastern Queensland and surrounding islands

I really like Tree Kangaroos. They remind me of me because they are slow and clumsy on the ground. I can’t walk more than five feet without getting winded and needing to sit down.

However, they possess some qualities that I definitely don’t have as well: they are expert leapers – capable of jumping to another tree 30 ft away and can jump to the ground from 59 ft or more without being hurt! Pretty cray-cray.
