Status: Least Concern

Here’s a gorgeous bird to end your week off right! This is an Orange-backed Troupial (Icterus croconotus), one of about 25 species of ‘New World Orioles.’ Really couldn’t find any information on this bird but I thought it was too beautiful not to post. I’m especially fond of the small patches of bright blue, naked skin surrounding its eyes.
