Habitat: East and Southeast Africa

Dik Diks are dwarf antelope that grow to about 12-16 inches tall and only 7-16 pounds. Dik-diks are named for the alarm calls of the females, which make a dik-dik, or zik-zik sound. Their tiny little frames are just the reason why I love Dik Diks so much.

These guys are so tiny, big LIZARDS even hunt them. Imagine that? Being so small you had to worry about lizards eating you up. Poor Dik Dik.

The top two photos show baby dik diks that happen to be so freaking cute they make me want to scream. Although if I stood on top of a building screaming “I LOVE DIK DIK!!!!” I think that might be interpreted wrong….
