According to the uploader:

“We found him [Ryan] as a baby bird, tiny with no feathers and a broken leg, fed him a mixture of worms and baby bird food. When we turned him loose he flew into our eucalyptus trees, but every time we walked outside he flew down and hopped right up to us. Soon, all we had to do was clap and he would fly right down to us. When my daughters went on a horseback ride, he would fly along with them, he was awesome. This lasted for about a year, then he flew away and we never saw him again. Sooo sad.”

I’m sure it must have been hard to see him go, but he’s wild and free now! 🙂
