My life just got a whole lot better…because of BETTAS! I’ve always thought that Betta fish, otherwise known as Siamese Fighting Fish (Betta splendens), are absolutely stunning species of fish that make wonderful little pets. I had no idea, though, the vast array of colors and patterns that they come in! There’s a whole world of fancy betta fish breeding out there where people selectively breed these fish to produce some incredible color combinations.

This one is called a Dragon Fancy Orange Halfmoon Plakat. I think it’s absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous!

So I’m thinking of showcasing a different fish each week because each one is more beautiful than the next! What do you guys think… are you down for some bettas?
