Caterpillars are so amazing. It’s crazy to think that these beautiful/cute/scary creatures begin their lives in one body and then morph into a completely new one! Can you imagine having that happen to YOU? It must be a lot of hard work switching bodies… I would be way too lazy to even try.

My favorite of the ones above is the Sphinx moth caterpillar. It’s so cool how it mimics a snake (I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference)!

Which one do you like the best?

It is wonderful how it imitates a snake. My favourite is the Puss moth catterpillar with the wide open mouth. Forever hungry!

I love how the dagger moth caterpillar looks like a muppet! Or a feather boa!

Its amazing how beautiful these catterpillars can be and yet I would never want one on me! I stumbled upon this related site today, check out some of these insects!

Oh definitely the Puss Moth Caterpillar

This one is pretty weird as well:

This is overwhelming. These could each have their own post. The Hickory horned devil is quite ferocious looking, and the Flannel moth looks like a cuddly adorable tribble or guinea pig ^^

The dagger moth is super cute too and the Saturnia Pyria looks positively other-worldly.

I think the one that struck me the most for a reaction was the Puss Moth, which looks like it is straight from some greek horror story.

All incredible finds; thank you very much as always, Miss CarlyB!
